Anita´s Story
She sat down one day and made sketches by letting the hand draw what it wanted to express without any conscious control or intentions. The hand did the same with the colors, it chose what color to pick and where to put it.
Fifty-five artworks later a ‘Conversation card deck’ was ready. The love of excellent watercolor paper with first class paint was a remarkable and pleasant experience by itself. From there larger watercolor papers and more colors. The artwork got bigger and bigger. Without seeing her work, her youngest son gave her a giftbox containing a tiny canvas and a set of acrylics, as he thought she should widen her expressions. She tried it out, experimented and learned about techniques. She bought more colors and bigger canvases. Still intuitive and without predestinated outcomes, she takes on artworks that emerge as she goes.
